As the weeks go by, a new normal seems to be setting in for many businesses and organizations. Social distancing…

non-essential business closures, and other measures have been put in place to protect our communities and stop the spread of Coronavirus.

While these are necessary measures, we understand the frustration you may be experiencing during this time. Without customers and your community coming through your doors, reaching them and bringing valuable content to their homes can be a challenge. And while things may continue to change, we wanted to give you some ideas of new ways to utilize your LED walls as an asset to your business during this time and beyond.

1. Create video backdrops

We see many businesses are changing their operations to accommodate at-home viewership, and using your LED wall as a backdrop for these broadcasts is a creative and fun use of your wall! Whether you want to display a while wall, a remote beach, or an image of what your business usually looks like inside, full of smiling faces, you can make people feel like their right there with you through online videos, Facebook lives, Zoom calls, and more.

2. Collect submissions of user content for future campaigns

When things go back to normal, your business may realize you missed a few weeks or months of gathering content while your customers were staying home. Instead of missing out on photos, events, and other gathers, reach out directly to your customers and community for submissions of their own content. This may look like people at home using your products, individuals and families watching your videos, or other customers sharing their experiences with your organization. Not only are many people excited to have the opportunity to be featured throughout your brand, but many people welcome the challenge of new activities they can participate in. These photos, videos, and reviews will all be great content to share down the line.

3. Display Important Information

If your business still has any foot traffic or is being used for emergency services, project need-to-know information that is helpful to anyone in your space. This may include emergency testing center information, helpful tips on how to stay healthy, activities people may want to try from home, and more. If there is a way to incorporate your brand into the messaging without focusing on sales, we challenge you to do so. Resources and valuable information your community may need is extremely important to share. How can you help your community and contribute to the good in these circumstances?

4. Provide humor or a reason to smile

This may look a little different for businesses who still have people coming through their doors versus organizations who have switched to remote operation, but either way, give your community a reason to smile. Use your LED wall to display funny photos, jokes, and other content that can bring joy to your community. Be the light and make your community excited to see your content.

What other ways are you creatively using your LED walls right now? If your business has tips or recommendations for others, we’d love to hear them. And as always, feel free to reach out to the team at Refresh for answers to other questions you may have.
