Behind The Story
This summer, Refresh LED had the opportunity to work with the team at Lakeside Ashland on the Lakeside Outdoor Drive In Movie Theater in Columbia, Missouri.
This project was over a year in the making and took a lot of strategy and planning to bring to life. Learn more about how the process went and how Refresh installed this eye-catching 70 foot wide video wall in the amphitheater.
About Lakeside Ashland
Lakeside Ashland is a one-of-a-kind venue where visitors come to watch movies or sports on our 70 foot LED video wall (thanks to Refresh!) or enjoy live music on the amphitheater stage. This property is fun for the whole family and also features two-seater ziplines on the lake, a playground, a wide variety of events, and much more.

When the team initially reached out to Refresh to learn more about our products and services, the idea for the Lakeside Outdoor Drive In Movie Theater was in its conception. Over the next year, our team worked to plan many aspects of this project, from the actual size of the video wall and needed panels to the pixel pitch, custom wiring needed, and more.
The Final Outcome
In the end, we installed a 40’x70’, 5.9 pixel, all-season LED video wall on-side in Columbia in under a week! Our team helped specify the type of structure that was needed along with the electrical and data requirements. We handled all of the custom wiring for the whole project and worked directly with a fabricator to ensure that the structure could support the operation.
While this project required specialized outdoor panels to bring the vision to life, we ensured that everything for the installation was ready to go.
